| THE ROCKIN LITTLE BAND FROM SAN ANTONIO |
Biography of Stage One |
|---|
|
"Stage One" was formed in early 2000 by a Father and Son duo, who wanted to create a show of their own. Jimmie the father of the pair had been playing music since the young age of 7, and had gone professional at the age of 16 with a band in San Antonio Texas. Jimmie had played in many bands including bands such as Texas Express and Carol Gilly. Jimmie comes from a musical family and holds a lot of respect for his uncle Pete for the hours of teaching him how to pick. Cody at the tender age of 8 showed a desire to play sax. After a major accident resulting in a head injury the sax became medicine to him. By the time he started the band program in school he had passed his peers and excelled far past what was ever expected. By his sophomore year he had developed on bass guitar as well which is also his primary instrument in Stage One with the sax cross over. Jimmie and Cody not only play for Stage One, but they also sing and write songs. They have both gained an increasing passion for developing new and original material.
